The toddler program philosophy is based on the premise that children learn about the world around them through active involvement with other children, adults, materials, and the environment. In this classroom, learning takes place as toddlers touch, manipulate, and experiment with materials and interact with people. Additionally, our toddlers learn through engaging in practical life skills following Montessori education principals. How does this look like? You can find children caring for their classroom plant, helping at mealtimes, cleaning, learning how to care for themselves, for example. Our goals for toddlers are for them to learn responsibility, collaboration, and independence.
Preschoolers continue to learn practical life skills while learning about the world around them through active involvement with other children, teachers, materials, and the environment. From sensorial activities to activities that encourage language development, our preschoolers immersed themselves in an emergent curriculum and Montessori activities that adjusts to their needs and interests. The goal for your child is to build confidence, respect others, and have tons of fun.
The year before kinder is an amazing time of child development. Our pre-kindergarten program is designed for our children to move on to kindergarten either at a private, public, or charter school. We ensure that our graduating children are academically, emotionally, and socially ready to embark on a new educational journey by seeking the development of "the whole child" through the following areas:
